Ride the Bublr & Brews Beer Trail June 1-9 and you could win prizes

Milwaukee, WI – Three Walker’s Point neighborhood breweries are partnering with Bublr Bikes, Milwaukee’s nonprofit bikeshare, to create the Bublr & Brews Beer Trail during Wisconsin Bike Week June 1 – June 9, 2024. Throughout the first week of June people are encouraged to visit MobCraft Beer, Indeed Brewing Company and Broken Bat Beer Company (all located within a mile of each other) on a Bublr Bike to celebrate two great loves of Milwaukee- biking and beer.

Individuals that participate in the Bublr & Brews Beer Trail have the chance to win one of three prizes from each respective brewery. MobCraft Beer and Indeed Brewing Company will be giving away a quarter barrel party for the winner and their crew while Broken Bat Brewing Co. is giving away a two hour rental of their unique wiffle ball field located inside the brewery.

How to win a Walker’s Point brewery party:

During Wisconsin Bike Week June 1 – June 9,

  1. Purchase a pint of beer at all three participating breweries on the beer trail. During your visit make sure to pick up a punch card from the bar. Any pint purchase will earn you a punch!
  1. Rent a Bublr Bike from any one of the 100+ stations across the Milwaukee metro area.
  2. Drop off your completed punch card at any of the three breweries. Make sure to fill out the back with your name, email and phone number so we can be in touch if you win!

All entries that complete the trail during the first week of June are entered to win a taproom party. All punch cards must be completed and dropped off by June 9. The three winners will be selected at random the week of June 10. You must have rented a Bublr during Bike Week in order to receive a prize if your name is drawn. Remember to always bike safely and responsibly.

The Bublr & Brews Beer Trail is the brainchild of Elizabeth Grout, Sponsorship & Outreach Manager for Bublr Bikes, and Ryan Doolan, Marketing Director for MobCraft Beer, with the goals of promoting city-wide bike ridership along with visiting craft breweries in the Walker’s Point neighborhood. “I’ve been lucky to be in Milwaukee long enough to see the growth biking in our city over the years!” says Doolan. “As an avid biker, it’s wonderful to ride on the Hank Aaron or one of the 50+ bike trails Milwaukee has to offer. Bublr Bikes is such an asset to our community and the Walker’s Point Neighborhood. They are so convenient and I see their patented sky blue bikes everywhere! Jump on a bike, get moving in some fresh air while enjoying some great beers on your Walker’s Point ride.”

Elizabeth Grout adds, “What better way to celebrate Wisconsin Bike Week than riding a Bublr to a local brewery? Bublr Bikes is Greater Milwaukee’s nonprofit bikeshare, which is especially unique given that most bikeshares are either owned by Uber or Lyft. When you ride a Bublr, you are directly giving back to the community by supporting our free cycling classes, free Bublr passes for income-qualified neighbors, and more. Walker’s Point is home to quite a few Bublr stations, so we are excited to host a Bike Week event in the heart of Milwaukee.”

Bublr Bikes is Greater Milwaukee’s nonprofit bikeshare that provides accessible, convenient, and integrated travel options for everyone. There are over 100 Bublr stations across Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and West Allis that offer a variety of rental options spanning from a “pay per minute” pass to an annual pass. Bublr’s electric bikes serve as an accessible and comfortable way to cruise around the city. When you ride a Bublr, you are directly funding Bublr’s community programs including free passes for income-qualified neighbors, free cycling classes, adaptive bikes, and more!
