Under New Ownership

As you may know MobCraft Beer is under new ownership! I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Sarah, and together with my husband Mike, we recently purchased MobCraft Beer. We see this as an amazing opportunity to create a fun and creative environment for employees, embrace community, and of course, continue cranking out awesome beers and great food. And we hope you will join us in this next chapter.

FAQ’s
Why aren’t you serving your own beer? Unfortunately, we needed to apply for all new permits and permits take a while to obtain. We will be supporting other Wisconsin craft breweries while we rebuild our beer offerings.

Will you be doing crowdsourced beer still? Yes, we do plan to bring back crowdsourced beers. However, it will be at a much lower frequency throughout the year.

Will you be offering Mug Club or something similar? We will not be offering mug club at this time. We encourage everyone to sign up for our loyalty program to learn about deals, upcoming releases, and events!

What can people expect under new ownership? MobCraft will have a strong focus on community offering unique new events, art installations, collaborations, and more! We will be offering our own beers as well as expanding the beverage selection to include more non-alcoholic options and draft cocktails. The MobCraft kitchen will be serving pizzas and apps with the addition of sandwiches and salads as we find our groove.

What’s Crowdsourced Beer?

Several times throughout the year we leverage the power of the crowd to generate ideas for unique craft beers. Beer fans across the US submit ideas ranging from a couple of flavors to tried and true homebrew recipes. The ideas go up for a vote on our website. Votes are cast by placing a pre-order for the beer you would like to see brewed. The beer with the most pre-orders wins and is brewed, packaged, and available for pickup at the brewery.

Have a dream beer you have been longing for? Submit your idea and we will figure out how to brew it. It can be as simple as “I want a Stout that tastes like an Almond Joy” to a full homebrew recipe. Generate pre-votes for your idea and it will be entered in a vote. The more pre-votes you get the better your chances are of making it into a vote.

The voting period will be announced via social media and on the voting form prior to the launch. Select which beer you would like to see brewed and follow the prompts to finish placing your vote. When the voting round closes, the winner is announced and we begin designing the label, finalizing the recipe, and sourcing ingredients.

Drink.

The winning beer is brewed at the end of the following month. The beer is typically ready for release within 4-6wks of being brewed (unless it is barrel aged of course). While the beer is brewing you can place a pre-order on our website. When the beer is finished, you’ll receive an email to pick up your order and enjoy!

    Unfiltered Belgian-style Witbier. Easy going with a smooth finish and subtle notes of fruit and spice.
