PART-TIME or FULL-TIME KITCHEN CREW / LINE COOK
Job Summary:
MobCraft Beer is a brewery, taproom, and pizzeria located in the Walker’s Point neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We brew a wide range of beers from sour ales to barrel-aged stouts, IPAs, and everything in between. Our beers go great with our amazing pizzas, both of which can be enjoyed in our spacious taproom or out on the patio. We are a small team that believes in fostering a culture focused on an excellent customer experience and being a place to connect people within the community.

MobCraft (under new ownership) is hiring reliable kitchen staff with flexible availability to work in a fun, brewery environment. In addition to typical line cook tasks, which is primarily using a high-temperature oven (no grill or deep fryers), your responsibilities will include stocking and prepping for busy shifts, opening and closing the kitchen, prepping catering items for events, and supporting the bar staff as needed.

This role also receives tips, as 5% of taproom tips are split between the kitchen staff working during that time.

Kitchen Hours of Operation:
Monday–Thursday: 11 AM–9 PM
Friday–Saturday: 11 AM–10 PM
Sunday: 11 AM–6 PM
Shifts would vary and begin before opening and end after closing to account for prep and closing duties.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare food for guests in a timely manner
• Follow recipes and procedures as written
• Monitor the quality of products and services produced
• Open and/or close the kitchen, including washing dishes and restocking items as needed
• Stock and prep ingredients and supplies for busy shifts
• Prepare catering items for events
• Assist bar staff and other team members as needed

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in food service or other related fields preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of common food safety practices
• Adaptability
• Food Handler/Food Manager certification preferred, but not required

Pay:
$14.00 – $16.00 per hour + tips
